Australian Performing Arts Conservatory Student Film Festival

We’re excited to invite your talented Year 10–12 students to showcase their creativity in the Australian Performing Arts Conservatory’s (APAC) Student Film Festival. This is a free competition designed to spotlight the next generation of storytellers.

This is a unique opportunity for students to:

Submit a short film (up to 5 minutes) in any genre

Win a partial scholarship to study Screen & Media or Acting at APAC

Be recognised by industry professionals and take part in a live screening and awards ceremony

The festival is held in Brisbane with both in-person and online options

Why should your students enter?
This is not just about awards, it’s about exposure, creative growth, and opening pathways into a career in screen production. Students can submit solo or group work, and we encourage entries from media classes, film clubs, or creative arts projects.

Key Info:

  • Entry is free
  • Open to QLD students in Years 10–12
