The ATOMQ State Conference: Framing the Future, in partnership with Essential Screen Skills and the University of Southern Queensland, offers an opportunity for primary and secondary teachers to strengthen their professional knowledge and practice, in line with the AITSL standards, so they can deliver future-focused Media Arts, MAiP and FTVNM education and improve student outcomes.

With sessions led by industry experts, QCAA representatives and experienced practising primary and secondary educators, attendees will engage in innovative curriculum planning, AI integration, media literacy, and First Nations perspectives. Teachers will gain practical skills and resources to immediately enhance classroom learning and assessment across P-12 Media Arts, MAiP and FTVNM.

Friday May 30th to Saturday 31st
Friday sessions will be delivered online (from 9am-4pm) and the Official Opening, Keynote and Helen Yeates Award for Excellence in Media Education Presentation will be in-person (from 4:30pm) at USQ Springfield Campus, followed by a networking social event nearby from 6pm.
Saturday is in-person only from 8:30am-4:30pm
