The new QCE system and subject scaling

ATOM QLD over the last couple of years has been observing the effects of the new QCE system on our subjects. With the release of the subject reports, it is imperative that we capture data from teachers of Film, Television and New Media/Media Arts in Practice or Media Arts to understand how the new QCE system and subject scaling is affecting subject enrolments and class compositions.

ATOM QLD is seeking information to best support and represent its members and arts educators across Queensland as we respond to the impact of published subject-scaling reports in the new ATAR system.

Please respond to the survey linked below by February 23, 2022. Only one response per school is required.

It should take less than 25 minutes to complete the questionnaire. Your participation in this survey is completely voluntary and your survey responses will be strictly confidential. Data from this research will be reported only in the aggregate and will be compiled with data collected from other Arts subject professional associations to develop strategies in response to the subject-scaling reports.

If you have questions at any time about the survey or the procedures, please contact us via email at president@atomqld.org.au

Thank you very much for your time and support.
